Hi, welcome to Mike's home page. If you came here via Grand Fleet Operations you probably have a fair idea of my interests; SF fandom, filk music, costuming, space exploration... I've only recently got interested in costuming, after a lesson from an expert showed that actually it wasn't as hard as I'd always thought it to be. However, I've been writing filk songs for several years, and some of these are listed below. I don't claim to be an expert by any means - but the nice thing about the circles I sing in is that nobody minds.

I'm in the process of learning some instruments. I can play keyboard a little, and I know some recorder and clarinet, but I now play harp almost exclusively. My wife is primarily a costumer, but is starting to write songs and sing as well.
